Just Vegan Cooking Classes: for everyone who wants to help stop animal exploitation, improve environment, eat healthy, help curb worldwide hunger, learn something new, have fun, & make new friends – an exciting, enjoyable experience, join Šárka Hedström at Vegan Chef On The Run for Just Vegan!

Wonderful day of cooking, 4th Saturday of each month! Loads of fun and excellent value for money! The focus is on egg replacements. Cost for the day – R500.00 P/P.

• Lesson commences at AM: 9:00, and completes at 14:00 (5 hours).
• Price incl of tea, ‘egg’ brunch, beverage, cook offs, and coffee.
• All ingredients and materials needed for lessons are provided.
• One on one, and or group cook lessons.
• Learn about ‘egg’ substitutes, how to make plant based ‘egg scramble, fried egg, boiled egg, devilled egg, ice cream’, meringue, and five plant based milks, using a variety of textures and flavours.
• You will also have a better understanding of pantry essentials and kitchen equipment used to enhance vegan cooking.
• Recipes, ‘egg’ replacer material, and recommended suppliers will be mailed to you as you complete. Welcome to take  home cooked samples!

Itinerary:

9:00 – 11:00; Prepping boiled egg and variety of ice creams, meringues.

11.00 – 12:00; Cooking various methods of plant based eggs.

12:00 – 13:00; Egg brunch. Reflect, discuss Pantry essentials.

13:00 – 14:00; Prepping varieties of plant based milk, ice cream tasting & coffee.

MEAL DELIVERIES

 

Just Vegan firmly believes, in consuming healthy well balanced meals that are visually appealing, taste superb,  are cost effective, and made up of a variety of whole vegan food groups and colours for maximum nutritional content.  Optimum health is also reliant on regular exercise, relaxation, laughter, sunshine D, additional vegan B12, and correct calorie intake to match  BMI & calorie output.

Just Vegan cordially invites you for dinner @ just R65.00 per meal,  delivery within the Jukskei Park at no additional charge. Your serving is between 300g to 400g of gorgeous ready prepped meal. Allow Just Vegan to do all the hard work for you, so that you can take the evening off.

Fresh seasonal ingredients from farm to table are used, because you deserve the very best – all the time! Newly weekly developed menus go live every Saturday evening (look under ‘recent posts’ to view) so that you can plan ahead.

‘Butter’: plain salted – R55 

– Stunning more healthful spread made up of coconut & olive oil. Can also do additional with garlic and or herb for  R10 more

 

‘Cheese’: parmigiana – R130

– Piquant crumbly sprinkle ‘cheese’ made up of umami & omega 3

 

‘Creamer’: almond, thick, rich,  (perfect for coffee & cooking) – R45

Bread: butternut sugar free, flax, sprinkled mixed seeds & walnuts – R45

Dessert: apple crisp phyllo pastry parcel, baked with cinnamon, nutmeg, raisins & oats – R55

Juice cleanses: 3 Day, (variety of 5 daily juices) – R525

Pate: humus (high in protein) sprinkled with paprika – R45 

–  Best quality is used for this product (PHR salt, olive oil), gorgeous well balanced hints of tahini, fresh lemon, cumin, garlic & pepper – finished off with sesame seed

 

Pate: Sun-dried tomato & Italian herb (gorgeous anytime spread packed with omega 3) – R45 

–  Best quality is used for this product (PHR salt, olive oil). Tomato are slow dried over 5 hours. Variety of Italian herbs & loads of love go into developing this gorgeous pate . Do compliment with our homemade butter, hummus, tahini & butternut stone-ground bread. Healthy anytime spread!

Salads: Czech potato style with onion, carrot, peas, ‘egg’ & ‘mayonnaise’ – R65

 

Sides: beets Mediterranean style – R65 

 

–  Earthy goodness slow roasted with olive oil, PHRS, herb variety & pepper. Fresh goodness in a bowl

 

Sides: broccoli & cauli blanched, topped with ‘cheese’ sauce & bacon – R65 

 

–  Fresh cruciferous blanched, drizzled with absolute umami! Fabulous for the whole body! Enjoy as a meal on it’s own or in combo to share with whole meal as side dish. Cheshire surprise

 

Spread: tahini – R45

 

Sun-dried tomato with olive oil & Italian herbs – R55 

 

–  Whole day process to accomplish just the right ‘leathery’ consistency in all skins. Concentrated deliciousness , superbly tasty, worthy of every second. Served in glass jar, salted, peppered, herbed & finished with garlic and olive oil. Perfect accompaniment & enhancement to almost any dish, packed with loads of goodness including vitamin C, lycopene & immune boosters

 

Wraps rice paper:  –R65 

– Fresh seasonal delicious 5 p/c combo with peanut satay sauce, wrapped in rice paper, & when in season s/w (Tropicana salad)
